I used to go to a teenager board and I knew all the forum members and everybody knew me and it was like a family and now they've banned me and I can't stand that. It all happened out of a stupid joke, there was these topics related to 'how do you look like' where everybody was posting pics of them and pics of their bedrooms and stuff like that and one girl called Virgiblue was looking very good and I kinda payed her compliments and stuff like that and she did not say anything so I thought maybe she doesn't mind and I kept hitting on her because I knew she did not live too far from my town and that one day maybe we could meet but she sent a pm to mods complainging about me harassing her. So I've got a Pm from mods telling me to stop hitting on her but I could not believe it was true because I thought if she had a problem with me she would tell me to my face so we can discuss the problem and I thought she would never pm a mod so I kept talking to her and kind of try to seduce her and she probably complained again to the mod of that teen forum because next thing I knew when I logged back was I was banned !
I've tried to send an email to the forum administrator trying to tell him how unfair that was and tell him to read private messages if he wants so he could see I was not harassing that girl just try to please her but so far I did not get any answers.
You have no idea what it feels like to be banned from a place you were so familiar with ! It is really to hard for me to imagine they've blacklisted me and they talk about me like he's part of our teen sex perv black list !!!! :eek::confused::mad:
this is really heavy for me. has anyone ever experienced the same issue ? i mean be banned from a website ?

Yeah, sometimes you get really attached to a website, and it is all just a site but you love it, and you know there are real people in front of their monitor even if they're far from you and you can give lots of love through posts and threads and you can help others and being helped and that kind of create real friendship and yeah, make you addicted to a forum. I understand. You're not alone
I'm sorry to hear about that Sagger.
I may have a chance to help you realize it is not that bad. Let me tell you what happened to me lately :
I was having my coffee in that bar where you can sit in that counter every morning for almost one year. You know I told you in another thread I've had a lung problem from smoking too much and I had to stop smoking. Luckily I can still do sport and run but I will never be able to play violent sports anymore. I had to say goodbye to soccer and that my friends feels much much worse than loosing you account in a teen forum. So I have to stay away from smokers and it is usually not a problem since the law has prohibited smoking socially, but the boss of that small bar decided 'we are in a big mall, the ceiling is pretty high so the smoke will go up. Most of my clients are vendors working in the shops nearby and there's no reason they can't have their cigarettes in the morning before they go to work'. And he told his clients they can smoke in his bar. So you can imagine everyboyd jumped on this opportunity and all these sexy vendors and hairdresser started to smoke while having their coffee. I wasn't too annoyed at first, but after a week my lungs started to whistle. I don't know why the boss did allow customers to smoke, maybe it's just a trick to steal clients from the other bars around.......anyway....I asked him gently first 'could you please ask people not to smoke ?' he goes like 'No.' And then I don't know what the fuck happened in my head but I started to yell. lol I said 'IT'S A PUBLIC PLACE ! YOU WANT ME TO TELL THE SECURITY ?" and he answers : 'are you mad ?if you don't like it, go some place else'.
So I left, and I went to the security saying they were breaking the law.
From that moment, nobody smokes anymore which makes it even a more pleasant place except they banned me. lol
So just relax sagger, a website ban is just virtual, you won't feel like I do everyday when I walk along that bar.

I agree with you here. Sometimes people focus too much on the whole forum thing as being all that exists and everything they stand by, I know i too use to be guilty of that at times.
Sagger I'm sorry that you have to be blacklisted because of this pm story. Time will help you see things differently.

I'm happy smoking is forbidden in public places where I live. I don't smoke, and I'm allergic to the smoke. Viewing things through my boyfriend opinion I think people have taken the law a bit too far at times. Smokers should also have rights. But force non smokers to endure the second hand smoke is a bit too much. Why should we take the risk of lung cancer because of another guy habit ? I guess if teen forum community got together and signed a petition smokers would be allowed to smoke indoors again. I mean, I'm viewing many debates about smoke in forums and chat teen forum these days. Even today I've seen three posts about it. What's going on ? The anti smoke law have been voted ages ago ?
I get sick if my boyfriend smokes near me.
I really do feel sorry for smokers, but not enough to think they should be allowed to smoke where ever they want. Other people bad habits aren't forced upon everyone today, so why should this be ?

Well I'm smoking, so I find the anti smoke laws to be a bit annoying but I can understand and respect it seems to be the norm everywhere in the world anyway. However, I've heard California has a law that says you are not even allowed to smoke outside while in public. That is pretty fascist to me. Who in the hell made them owner of the outside ? As for the question about why people are speaking of that matter again today some 10 years after the law passed, I don't know, maybe that happens in forums that you can bump old threads :confused:

lol yeah I've heard about that bumping thing problem on teenagers forum which have a rule against that lol. I don't see what's wrong with having an old thread coming back lol. If it's an interesting thread then WTF ? Maybe some forum consider themselves as the best teen forums want to make sure to keep displaying the best quality threads loool that makes me think about related issues like the spam problem but that's something different..

I don't agree with that. I mean you can't take all rights away from people. Where I live the hospitals don't allow smoking outside the building, I mean you have to totally leave all hospital grounds to be able to smoke. I've seen patients sitting off hospital grounds smoking their cigarettes. They are sick, sometimes seriously, and they have to leave the hospital to satisfy their addiction ? That is so freaking strange. Many patients are suffering from loneliness and need a solitarity ressource to help get through the hospital time...having to leave the hospital ground all alone to smoke doesn't help the much.....;
